Your basket and gift message

The preview stores your candle quantity, delivery country, gift-wrapping choice, direct-delivery choice, card message and the names you enter for the card in this browser. This allows your selections to follow you between the product, gifting, basket and checkout pages.

This uses browser local storage under the name lustria-gift-basket-v1. It currently has no automatic expiry and remains until you change it, clear this site’s browser data or your browser removes it. It is specific to this browser and website address; it does not synchronise to another device.

To remove the saved draft, use your browser’s site-data controls to clear storage for this website. Removing the candle from your basket alone does not erase the saved gift names or message. Other people using the same browser profile may see the draft. Avoid including sensitive information in a gift note.

Checkout information in this preview

The email address, delivery address and billing address you enter are used on the page to check the form and show your order review. The shop does not submit these fields to an order service. These fields are held in page memory and reset when you reload; the delivery-country choice remains in the basket draft.

Your browser may separately offer autofill or retain information under its own settings. No card details are requested and no order or confirmation email is created by the preview.

Website hosting and tracking

The shop code currently has no advertising pixels or analytics integration. This does not mean that visiting the website produces no technical data: the hosting and access-control services may process connection, security and sign-in information. Their data handling, storage and any international transfers still need to be documented for the final notice.

Before payments open

Stripe has been selected for future payments but is not connected. Before enabling checkout, we will explain the purposes and lawful bases for handling orders and enquiries, which payment, delivery and email providers receive information, retention periods, and any international-transfer safeguards.

The final notice must also explain how we handle a gift recipient’s information when it is supplied by the purchaser. Optional marketing and tracking arrangements will be reviewed separately before they are introduced.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection rights can include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Write to the address above with a privacy enquiry. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
